1ST/2ND ANNUAL 2014/2015 What'd ya do for Halloween, pics, stories?

Man, some of you had a LOT of people! And the set ups…wow!

This Halloween sucked…for many, many reasons! 30mph wind gusts…wtf! Snow in the area…wtf! And of course, it being 35 degrees that night…wtf! We had roughly 26 trick or treaters…and 4 of those came back for seconds…so 22 people total! It did not help that almost every house around us did not have their lights on…our house and the house across the street had our lights on but coming up the street…4 houses before ours, did not have their lights on! Disappointing!

I went as the lonely Jeremy Milton from the 2001 movie, Valentine. My wife as Minnie Mouse. We decorated all up for Valentines Day…which was difficult to find around Halloween!!! When the kids did finally come…at first they were shocked because of the Valentines decorations, then me. I gotta say this…not one freaking person know who I was…that was honestly expected! But, most said now they want to see the movie! Cool!

On with the small batch of pics!

The start of the day…enough candy for 100 people!

Decorations…

And, at the end of the night…8pm…the candy left…alot! SAD!!

And a pic of me!

I’d love to swing by your house some Halloween Bob! Your yard is amazing every year. Love seeing pics of it. :supz:

Thanks Chad, I’d Love to have You here! I was so busy, I still have a Full Cooler! :open_mouth: Desperately need Help! :drinkers: :drinkers: :drinkers:

I did my 11yo niece up as Freddy this year (she was pt3 Jason last year). Made the glove a couple of months ago, weathered the sweater and pants last week sometime, made the hat from a crappy $8 partycity hat. I couldn’t find any decent, kid sized full head masks so I cut up a cheap adult mask and used the pieces as prosthetics. The application process took way longer than I thought it would and the premixed prosaide bondo I bought didn’t work as I had expected. With time running out I did the only thing I could think of to blend the pieces together, and that was to cake makeup between them and try to blend it as best as I could in what little time I had. I had intended to airbrush the makeup but it just didn’t work out that way so needless to say I was disappointed in the job I had done in the end. She seemed to like it though, and so did everybody who saw her out and about. People kept wanting to take pics with her and kept asking about her costume, so I guess it ended up being a success. I didn’t have time to take pics while I was doing it and this is the only pic I’ve gotten from my sister so far, but I’ll post more when I get them.

My sister emailed me some more pics but most sucked and were blurry and small for some reason. These were the best ones.

Here is a pic taken while I was applying the mask pieces:

These pics were taken right before she put the rest of the costume on (please excuse the cell phone quality):

Just got these from my mom:

Casey Jones roamed the streets of Hollywood, which started raining like a monsoon just after midnight. Quite an experience being among hundreds of thousands of people when all of a sudden everyone jams in every direction for dry safety or to their cars, stepping in giant puddles (like myself) on the way. Was crazy fun.

Even came across one other Casey who admired my costume:

BUT, NOTHING WAS MORE EPIC THAN THIS:

The WHOLE gang:

Then later: THE WHOLE gang, PLUS April and female turtle:

But of course, here’s a Myers:

Still waiting on photos from the ONLY Shredder I encountered and two other sets of TMNT I came across. Will keep you posted.

I’ve been haunting a neighborhood in my city for the last two years. It’s called Boylan Heights and it looks just like Haddonfield. I lived there for about 4 years and live close by now. Kids will stop dead in their tracks, slowly walk up to me and put their little hands out, and I’ll low five them. Or people will call out “Michael!” from across the street and when I stop slowly, they scream and run the other way.

This little kid who was handing out candy came up to me and gave me a peanut butter cup, which was really cool that he wasn’t scared haha.
After that I picked up my friend from the airport, watched Halloween 78 and drank

Wiseguy - that’s a great group shot

Nice pics everyone, the build up for my Halloween was great watched all the Halloween films, a bunch of the Hammer films Dracula’s and Frankenstein’s etc for the first time as well as a good amount of the Universal classic monsters again I picked up on blu ray.

I had to work Halloween night, I didn’t have much for decorations up prior as they mostly take batteries or have moving parts. Before work I decided to enjoy Halloween while I could and put mostly every thing else I had up. The yard looked great didn’t put the fog machine out tho have to book Halloween off next year.

I did go to a nice little local haunt walk/display during the week which was nice as I couldn’t make any of the other ones working weekends. Also wore my ToTs H20 mask as I finally got it just before Halloween I think they missed shipping my order but with a little prodding got it sent out. Wore the h20 to both of my brothers places the Halloween eve just to get a chance to wear it. Great mask really happy with it, ran out of time didn’t get to watch Trick R Treat before halloween gonna watch it this week

The Shredder came though and sent me a photo of our face-off

Oct. 31st - Watched the original Halloween at the Elk Theatre with my buddy Brandon. I’m wearing my unnamed replica from 2008

Nov. 1st, Trick or Treat in my town. I’m wearing a metal mask I made years ago as well as bits in pieces of other costumes and of my real wardrobe. :

Here’s a group shot with all of my fellow scarers that night, I’m in the back:

I actually dressed up for the first time in 13-15 years, and I used my HSS Devious mask and my newly arrived NO Psycho.

An interesting thing happened, or an even more interesting thing might have happened if I had entered the house… I simply just entered my aunt’s yard undetected try Myers style and I noticed that she just happened to be knitting by the couch like she sometimes do… would have loved to know what would have happened if I had entered the house. :myers :sunglasses: Should I have done it? :smiling_imp:

Other than that nothing more interesting happened and I had nobody to go with. A few cars passed me by while wearing the Psycho and I heard a scream from one of the cars passing by lol.

Happy Halloween all you Myers fanatics! :myers
I’m proud to present the 2nd annual what’d ya do thread! :axe:
Last year’s was over 3 pages of great pics and stories and really gave us an insight into what Halloween is around the world. Yall can start now or wait till you have trick or treat pics!
Happy Halloween Michael Myers.Net and special thanks to Derek, Benny Michaelantern, and Kaizu!!! Halloween wouldn’t be the same without you guys! :prayer: :pumpkin: :snakeman: :axe: :supz:

I’ll start this off Don!,1ST OFF, GRAB BREAKFAST!!! :drinkers: :drinkers: :drinkers: :drinkers: :drinkers: :drinkers:

LMAO!   That’s where I’m headed right now Bob! Oh shit, we gotta hang out brother

So far, I’ve been watching the Halloween movies all morning!

Lots of coffee to start the day…to keep me up and energized for The Night He Came Home! :drinkers:

It’s such a nasty, dreary day. I mean, an all day rain storm? Rally? Couldn’t have waited until after Halloween? Couldn’t have rained yesterday. Yesterday was a gorgeous day! Sunny, cool, a slight breeze, warm sun! It would have been the perfect weather for Halloween. But nooooo! We have to get a rain storm! For once in my life, I’m waiting for this day to be over, rather than hoping it would never end. :imp:
