2015 TOTS Ben Tramer Conversion to H1........

Well I got my first Tramer mask to sacrifice… I’m happy with the results! Here is what I did step by step.

1: Put on some Misfits or Halloween type music. Pull out your favorite beverage and take the plunge! Take your TOTS H2 and use as a good reference for a haircut. I used tweezers and toenail clippers. First I brushed all the hair with my beard boar brush… I’ll probably have plenty of Tramer hair stuck to my beard for days to come.

2: RIT Dye Dark Brown with white vinegar mix heated up. Don’t heat up too much to where the glued hair will fall. Just keep it warm. About 10-15 min of agitation to mask.

3: Once dyed, rinse well with cold water and pat dry with towels. Looks wrong and light colored but since the Tramer is painted gray just go with it. Doesn’t contrast well.

4: Paint Prep- Tape off the whole hairline with plastic wrap and painters tape. Try to bundle it all up.

5: Paint- I used an Airbrush. I used acrylic paints. Mostly White and just a little dab of midnight(black). Once I got my paint the right color I added 50% liquid latex and maybe at most 1/2 teaspoon of windex to thin it all out how I wanted.

6: Once everything is dry remove hair covering. Tease the hair how you want. I suck at this part but referenced every pic online and tried to replicate. Once I got it to where its somewhat acceptable I used some strong hold hairspray to keep it all in place. Once dried snip the loose ends.

7: Completion: Hope this helps any DIY people out here. I’m happy with it and if you need any more detail or help let me know. I’m not an expert by no means but feel comfortable modifying as needed.

Great job! Moar pics!

Did you simply rip the sideburns part out or had to reglue shaped hairline?

So if I don’t have a Airbrush can I do like others have said and hand paint on the white acrylic/latex mixture?

Also awesome job, yours definitely influenced me to take the jump and try to make one as well. Can’t wait to see more pics

Hey my fellow Kentuckian lol Yeah you can hand paint with acrylics and liquid latex mixture. Just more time consuming.

Haha a fellow Kentucky boy! Thanks for the tip will definitely be doing this soon.

Awesome!

Nice, and bonus points for the guide

That came out really nice. Good work… I think these tramers are going the the hot ticket for awhile.

Killer job!!! Ive been trying to redo mine but for the life of me i cant get it right, or to where im happy with it. Ive must of redid mine 10 times by now.

.

Yeah I’m about to start on mine as well. Will be doing it by hand.

This is really cool! Are you happy with the outcome?

Nice one man, hoping to get one of these and redo it as an H1.
Can I ask what size is the tramer? Is it on the large side, like the H2? Cheers.

Its smaller than the H2 I’d say its smaller than ToTs H20 as well.

There about 23 1/2 around the forehead.

Cool. The HII was way to big for me never sat right but this has now got me very interested. The only thing now is getting one to the U.K. With the postage it almost doubles the price, anyone got any idea’s?
Thanks for the reply guys.

try dangerzone collectibles, that’s where I ordered mine. cheapest I could find in the UK. £49.99
