Realized that too. Disappointing to say the least
That’s a beautiful re-haul for sure. I happy with mine just the way it looks.
Beautiful but the artist deserves money I’m just not a fan of price gauging resellers but I agree it looks amazing. Just not worth $3,000 in any universe lol. And yeah I debated it but I’m fine with my copy as is. Just happy it fits
There are pretty spot on indie H1 masks done by JC that aren’t going for 3k!!!? That’s really pathetic!!
I know the buyer is “stupid” for paying that, but personally as a seller I wouldn’t feel right having that on my conscious
I love my TOT 2018 mask. I’ve owned the H2, Hospital and H20 too, and for what they cost, they are amazing. You should of been in this hobby 20 years ago and see what $60 got you! We are living in a great age for mass produced, affordable masks. Just dont expect a miracle.
I was going to say this. He/she joined the forum today and this was their first post lol. They could have just emailed ToT instead of joining here, I bet they never post again (at least outside this thread)

The fact that it’s only a $60 mask is not an excuse to just roll out basically a kid mask size with no logic, and TOTS is rather popular for this, I think the mask looks very good for the price but they should’ve made at least 2 sizes like they did with the H2 one, they’re not gonna have a single penny from me if they keep making kid size masks for sure.
I will stand by what I said a little while back in a previous thread. I was extremely let down with the way the pre-orders were handled and stores having them on the shelf before pre-orders even shipped but will say when I received mine I was pleasantly surprised. It looks absolutely good for a 60.00 mask. Like Steve said, years ago we didn’t have an affordable option that looked this good. I am not a TOTs fan and this was my first TOTs mask but you have to give them credit on this one. it really does look good for 60 bucks. As far as the repainted ones going for 3 grand, that’s nuts and will die out very soon. Some people have deep pockets and money isn’t an issue.
Yep. While the mask is amazing the way preorders were handled was ridiculous. I somehow still have not received my preorder I just got lucky I found a copy at Spirit that fit my head
Well hell. I know I have said this at nauseum, but the mask size is hit or miss. Not all are the same exact size. This has been proven with side by side copies. I am 6’1, 210 pounds, 24" head and my copy fits perfect, not tight but not wobbly either.
As for the mold used, it most certainly is the movie master molds, HOWEVER, two masks were made, one for Nick, one for James. This could explain the change in sizes with the various masks. One could be from Nick’s, one from James. Two different size heads on those gentlemen from what I would guess, and so this could be the answer to the inconsistency in size on the mass production version.
As for the paint work, it’s going to be of a lower quality obviously. But as the artists have time to really get a feel for the look of the mask, it will improve. Take their H6 for example, the paint work on the most recent versions of that one have been very consistent and of a good detailed quality.
And I will say, seeing the ones roaming around the convention, and others online, man it looks like the best detailed Myers mask tots has put out yet. And the hair is well done, nice full head coverage and super easy to style and then lockdown with some hairspray.
A little finesse and the mask is amazing. It’s 60 bucks, sure it sounds like maybe a lot to an outsider, but not in this hobby. That’s dirt cheap when getting into this hobby.
i cant believe how some of you guys dont know how business works.companies like party city ordered months before pre-orders for individual sales were put up.you think your 60 preorder trumps party city,s $40,000 order.lol
well isnt everyone just in a big 'ol fuss about me complaining about tots…this is my first post returning to the forum…ive been a part of this forum before…years ago, had masks from NAG and purchased from many private sellers here as well. I had been gone for a while, yes but I am no new comer to this stuff lol…some of you guys act like little keyboard warriors for TOTS after all I did was state MY opinion on the mask. ALL I SAID WAS THE MASK LOOKS RIDICULOUS WHEN BEING WORN because its tiny… maybe I have a huge head but im no fatty…haha…anyways you guys can relax I just wanted to hear input and I have had problems before with TOTS hence my “jerkoffs” comment. My apologies if I hurt anybody’s feelings. Ive seen that some of you have very awesome copies and rehauls so cheers to that. im just not happy at all with mine. its also deformed in some areas. Maybe i"ll come across a better copy or a better version of the mask someday. If anyone wants my copy i will sell it for 60 not looking to make any profit.
I have a large head (23.5"), and the mask fits perfect.
If you don’t like it, sell it on eBay for $300.
I’m so tired of the bitching. Some people just can’t be pleased.
What amazes me is people will pay 350 or more for a BLANK! This mask is movie accurate for SIXTY BUCKS and comes painted, with hair and ready to wear or display. If you don’t like the way it looks you can get it customized to your liking, try and find an accurate blank for sixty bucks anywhere. My only complaint with this mask is I didn’t buy more (I bought two) when I could have!
My advice to the haters is go over to Monstermakers and get yourself a few bars of clay, a bag of hydrocal and a bucket of latex and make one yourself, then get back to us. Oh it can be done, yes. But this sculpture/casting business is hard, and pleasing everyone is impossible. There isn’t going to be a mask made for JJCs head that is going to fit you and look perfect. It’s a $60 mask from a movie mold. For years people have been complaining that they wanted a screen accurate sculpture and it’s finally here and they’re still bitching. I just don’t get it. And then they try to repaint it and ruin it. I’ve seen probably a couple dozen ruined paint jobs on here the past month. Ugh.
Haven’t seen the new 2018 Myers mask in person, yet, so I can’t say for sure. I did go to Spirit Halloween today to see if I could find one but no luck. I do have a H6 mask from TOTS and it does fit me absolutely perfect.
The mask is from the movie mold, It has been confirmed. As for the size of JJC and the mask here is a example. I’m 6’3/4 and I weigh 220lbs with a 23.5in head. I also have a beard and the mask fits me perfect. Now there were 2 masks in the film one for JJC and one for Nick Castle. Not sure what mold they used but it seems to be a hit or miss with the size.
