So I picked up the Party City Michael Myers Animatronic tonight and it’s not bad at all. It’s about 6’5" tall, and has the stabbing motion animation. The sound effect is Michael’s breathing and just a low end bass droning type sound. It does not play the theme song.
I personally like that it’s just the breathing with a low drone bass sound, as it comes off scarier that way IMO. I had a 20% coupon so I got it for around $160. So if anyone is thinking about picking one up, I would say it’s worthwhile if you have a coupon.
It doesn’t look hokey like some of the other ones out there, it looks the part just fine. The mask is not accurate to any particular movie, but is fine enough for what it is. Obviously you can throw a different mask over it if you really wanted to. In my opinion, a cool decoration to throw up for the season.
