Suited up and wore both my 78 masks tonight, and created some comparison shots.
I personally couldn’t pick one over the other, although i am leaning a bit more towards my 3DK, just because it appears much better worn and stretched out to me. Although the Proto has that nasty Kirk hair, and a really great finish. The sculpts are pretty different, two very different kirks here. They both shine in their own ways. I honestly love them both, and the good thing I DONT HAVE TO CHOOSE!! Lol I have them both. But….
The 3DK nips this for castle vibe and that is the look it was made for. It nails castle stretch spot on and with ID it is at the top of the game.
I’ll lean towards the 98 because I think it’s an all rounder but that takes nothing away from the 3DK as spookhouse have hit it out of the park.
What would be very interesting would be a side by side worn of both but with someone wearing the 98 with nicks head shape.
Overall, I prefer the ‘98. But, when trying to achieve the “Castle” stretch with both masks, on your particular head, gotta say, the 3DK is closer, in that regard.
That’s a good point to make, it is fitting for my head personally and that plays a huge role in how any mask looks, I think that’s why I enjoy it so much it because I like how it fits me personally. Thanks man. I appreciate the comment
