*4-6 BURNED HANDS*

Hey guys and gals,
I was wondering how and if you guys ever make your hands all vainy and burned with your H4-6 costumes.Id love some pictures posted.I’m thinking of being H2/6ish for the big day(Halloween) thats why i ask.THANKS!!!

I’d also like tips on how to do that with my h6 costume.

im thinkin you can color your hands with some make up like a purple and light red…or prob even use acrylic paint…I dont think it would be that hard, just take your time, id practice a bit before halloween though lol

Liquid Latex will do the job. I’ve been doing this for years. I should make a thread about it.
But firstly, you need to have minimal to no hair on your hands. …
you’ll need Kleenex, liquid latex(not for masks) and flesh colored cream makeup (foundation or concealer or cover-up works really well.) Take some small pieces of Kleenex, roll them into small lines, like veins, and then get them wet. Put them on your hands where you want the scar tissue to be, and start to layer liquid latex onto the Kleenex, and your hands. Use popsicle sticks to drag the latex down from the Kleenex, and make little river shapes with them (hard to explain!). Let each layer of latex dry before you start building up the layers. Then powder with baby powder.
when you have decent ‘layers’ of latex, start filling in the deeper layers with darker flesh colour, even mixed with tiny amounts of brown/black and/or red. The closest layers to the top should have the lightest colors. Finally, powder your hands when your finished.

OK, I just started a whole new thread on this in the off-topic section:
