Officially been 4 years since I started the search, I’ve tried on dozens and dozens of these things and have yet to get lucky enough to find one that fits my head. I went to my local spirit today and tried on 11 of them, again, to no avail. I know they run small, and I know some people have even ripped them at the mouth trying to get them on. So I’m posting here to ask, do any of you actually own one that seems to “larger”? If so what size if your head at the brow, and how does the mask fit? I wont give up this search, but I’m really starting to get discouraged.
For what its worth I have a 23.5 inch head and this is the only mask that I cannot find that fits.
I’ve noticed that the spirit Halloween copies that are super detailed and crisp are usually the “bigger” ones. The ones with the smeared paint are the older style masks. Just what I’ve noticed locally at least.
I have a size 24” head and I’ve been fortunate enough to find a few H40’s at Spirit that don’t squeeze my head like a vice.
Ive found those as well, but they are still too snug. They just look funny on my face
my dad owns one that is significantly larger than the one I own. I’d say about a 23.5" to a 24" head. they definitely exist.
I picked this up today at my local Spirit. My head is also 23.5" and this fit comfortably even with all of my hair. I noticed the slit and holepunch in the back measures about 6 inches. Maybe the slits are in different places as well? This is the first H40 I’ve owned so I don’t have anything on hand to compare it to.
