5-2-09 The Day I went HOME!!! To HADDONFIELD!!! Lots of Pics*RESURRECTED*

PHOTOBUCKET had deleted all the photos I posted when the site went haywire So I wanted to repost this from back in the day for any of the newer members who never got a chance to see it can see HADDONFIELD in all its glory  . By the way… that CGP FEAR was the very first mask I ever bought from a member here named JackCapers. I sold it years ago and wish I still had it since it was my first.

Below is the original post from 2009:

Well today my wife an I made the pilgrimage to HADDONFIELD  It was a fun day of picture taking. We saw some good locations. Not all of them but some memorable ones. The MYERS home was cool. LYNDA and ANNIES houses. The STRODE home. And my FAVORITE “The Hedge”. I spoke to the owner who was super nice and said feel free to take all the pics you like and she said I could even take a few pieces of " The Hedge" home with me. Also saw NICHOLS HARDWARE and some others you will remember. Enjoy the pics:

An interesting side note about " The Hedge" A few of the clipping are in water in our kitchen and with a little luck will sprout roots and grow into a “HEDGE” of my own

The MYERS HOME:

Me standing on the MYERS porch with a shit eating grin on my face  :

“The Hedge” In costume with my “FEAR” : Hey who planted those FLOWERS in front of our “HEDGE”

Me peaking out from behind “The Hedge”

Michael’s view from behind " The Hedge"

The STRODE house:

The pillar Laurie sat on holding a pumpkin while waiting for Annie to pick her up:

Annie’s House:

Lynda’s House:

Good old NICHOLS HARDWARE:

NOTE: The Doyle and Wallace homes were NOT located in Pasadena but rather in Hollywood.

Tommy Doyle’s house: The balcony that Michael fell off of after LOOMIS shot him 6 times: Notice that the house has had some remodeling done and there are no doors to the balcony anymore. Hey , I think I can still see Michaels body impression in that grass

The WALLACE home: This house had the most remodeling done. Where the carport was they built a garage. WOW :open_mouth: Remember when Michael walked out from that carport with ANNIE’S body in his arms and proceeded to the front porch and then through the front door. That scene still creeps me out everytime I see it :open_mouth:

The WALLACE front yard:

sweet shots man that myers view from the hedge is awesome :open_mouth:

After 30 long years, I wouldn’t even remember have those houses after all the remodeling! Atleast they didn’t do nothing to the Myers house except the fact that they moved it, but, wouldn’t it be so cool if they left it in with the other houses? I think that would be cool.

Good picture man! You know, for a form that is all about Myers, we rarly see any location shots, you should of took some pictures of some of the locations from the Remake too.

Very, very cool shots.

Beautiful shots Mike! I can never, ever get enough of the location pics!!! Thanks man!

Now I will pop H1 into the player and finish the night that way. Man, something about the original HalloweeN is almost magical to this ole country boy!

JC

Glad I could make your day James. My wife suggested we do the same and watch H1 together. You only gotta ask me once. Take care buddy. Mike

i cant wait to go visit these sites…truly amazing

marcus

Great pics. Thanks. On a side note, it’s odd that someone removed the door to the balcony on the Doyle house.

Thats what I was thinking too. If you watch the special features on 25 Years of Terror there is a segment with PJ SOLES where there are looking at some of the houses the DOYLE house included and they talk about how remodeling has really changed the look of some of the houses. Go figure

Glad you made it down…Nice pics !!

Thanks man , it was a great day. I was gonna message you bro and tell you we were coming but I didn’t want to bug you for a tour  Mike

That is just EPIC! Man I ENVY YOU! Great shots, it must have been great to see such historical sites. Thanks for the pic’s…S13
I LIKE IT!!!

Ahh it would have been no bother at all!! That pic of Mikes view you have…That first street there is the street in the opening scene after mike takes off in the car…Thats where the “Haddonfield” title comes up. Next time you come out let me know!

Deal bro. I appreciate it. Mike

I’m not entirely sure there was ever a door or doorway onto that balcony. Take a close look at the end of Halloween. It’s clear he is falling out of a back window into the backyard.
Now watch Halloween II carefully. They remodeled that balcony to make it look as though Michael had fallen out of the FRONT yard doorway. I’m pretty sure it’s simply “Movie Magic” guys. Also, there is a ramp that Warlock moves up, and simply “falls” off the balcony, without going over the railing.

But thanks for sharing such kickass pictures!!! :sunglasses:

I think you are right on about that bro. Thanks for pointing it out. Mike

Sweet pics, dude! I really need to make it down to Pasedena someday…only a 30 minute flight from where I live. :sunglasses: Still kicking myself for missing the 30th anniversary con.

Awesome shots Mike, you captured the spots very well!!!
thanx for posting :sunglasses: :sunglasses: :sunglasses:

The pleasure was all mine my friend. Glad you enjoyed them. Mike
