I was recently asked to do a follow up to my short fan film “Halloween Lurking” so I decided to do so…
I spent the weekend running around trying to create what I believe the Halloween remake films (and most modern day Horror Films) have forgotten what good classic Horror is all about. (At least, to me)
Grit, Grime, Grain, Mood, Atmosphere, Suspense.
6 important things that you need to be aware of when making a film you want to scare people with
A lot of modern day Horror films don’t have this anymore.
It’s not what we see that scares us… it’s what we “think” we see. It’s what we “think” is going to happen next.
Here is another fan film, just for fun entitled, “Halloween Fall stalking”
Enjoy, and may everyone have a safe and Happy Halloween! I can’t wait to see everyone’s pics from the big day. I will be posting some myself!
Wow, these were very well crafted shots, with great lighting and camera angels, and a fantastic use of depth of field. The day time shots were all great establishing shots representing the fall season fantastically. Those colors were great. What kind of camera are you using? The FEAR looks great as well!
Thanks for sharing man! A job well done!
Wow, that was really great. There’s one or two problems I had with editing and audio, but other than that I loved it. That and the previous one. Really well done.
Wow brotherman that was very nice indeed! Didn’t expect it to be that well crafted but I was happily mistaken my friend. The lighting and shadows were amazingly well done. Great editing and Love the Fear my friend…Very cool
