I know I’ve read the story on here before but can’t recall the facts. I already know that Sam McCain and Bill Malone both worked on it but can’t remember who was responsible for the face and who was for the ears. Can anyone enlighten me on this? 
Sam had nothing to do with the 75 Kirk mask. It was sculpted solely by Bill Malone with the use of a life cast.
Oops. I’m definitely rusty on this subject! 
I was 15 at the time…Malone worked on it and from what I understand David Ayres had something to do with it too.
As did I. 
I believe David Ayres sculpted the face and Malone did the ears
actually, if Ayres did do the face, he retooled a claypress of shatners life cast, he didnt sculpt it.
