I think yours looks awesome too! Just don’t stress it too much—maybe add a bit of red with a touch of black, and a little green like I mentioned before, plus some white. Clear coat it, and boom, you’re done!

Getting closer, what you guys think?
Think im just gunna add some chrome to the oxidization outlines. It will look cool when light hits it, and touch up the rust and add some more darker bits.

Looking good! After you finish all this stuff up, you gotta make a replica H5 scythe! = Pure Awesomeness!!

Oh wow ya that would be cool… its a tall order though. Well lets size it up now anyway , help me with pics? So that album one cant be right.

Absolutely! It can definitely be done. The blade could be mostly rusted, looking almost black and oily from grass stains, then finished with Perma-Blood and varnish spatters. :+1::+1:

Ya its just a big prop , my bros great at wood work though. Got any ideas for measurements for it? 6 ft tall maybe?

That’s a massive yard tool, easily standing as tall as an average human or better. The blade length is approximately half the height, maybe more, making it quite substantial.

Ya lol Im looking up scythe measurements and theres a site to custom tailor one lol

Looks like that blade is at least four feet long, which is kinda funny and creepy that they’re showing a hip bone right in the same spot you were referencing. :joy:

Plastic axe im rusting up (not the Curse axe its a bit smaller and made of plastic) gunna give it the same treatment as the Ends knife ,
Still refining the Ends knife :hocho: i got some chrome back on, done for the day. By the way Myers13 , the mint green you mentioned, you’d mix with the white?

You can mix colors, using white on green and vice versa, to create a crusty rust effect. This gives the impression that the knife was once a kitchen tool then later used for outdoor tasks like pruning. Tools that aren’t cleaned properly often develop an aged look, especially when they come into contact with natural materials.

Made some more progress on 2 masks. Getting ready for dry brushing. Put some pretty bitchin’ blood on the knives too.

Some more progress on the Ends knife . Getting real close here. Building up the rust so it has texture ill post a better pic later…Anywhere the blade isnt rusted i gave it a metallic highlight so the knife will look sharp in some areas when light hits it. It’s one of a kind, that’s for sure. Also, debating on spreading the rust out more.

Tots i love ya but the hair department needs a butt kick. Actually same with the paint department what happened to his nose? The blood is high quality tho. This thing is essentialy unwearable with the hair. Oh well thats why im gunna rehaul and rehair this mother.
