Im just curious to hear what you all have to say regarding Myers and his various looks
Definitely H18 and HKills.
It just looks like Michael Myers to me.
It would most definitely have to be Halloween 2 1981. I enjoy that look way more even than 78 which is my second favorite. There’s something about the way warlock stretched the mask and how it got all dirty and worn out, it looks so damn evil in the dark. Of course the way warlock walked was just the cherry on top, nothing can ever top that version of Michael for me personally
Gotta go with Kills or H2.
For some reason I just can’t stand the H4 and H5 masks which alot of people really love. The rest are meh.
H2 is that classic look but dirtier, and Michael in Halloween Kills just looked scary to me. That shot where he glances over at the lightning bulb is so menacing.

To me it screams myers to me the other mask I can’t stand looks goofy and silly
Aside from H1, my two favorite looks are H2 (1981) and H4. H2 because it’s the same mask, and Dick Warlock has a very distinctive look with the turned up buttoned collar and high water coverall legs. Also, he looks even better in shots like when he’s under the red light and chasing Laurie in the parking lot because then the collar is unbuttoned like H1. I like H4’s look due to the mask, being my second favorite in the series because it’s so plain, blank, empty, and emotionless as Myers should be, making it easily the creepiest mask in the series, in my honest opinion. I also like the fisher striped coveralls with the buttoned upturned collar, which to me, makes Myers in H4 look even less human, almost as though he’s this “being” of some sort if that makes any sense. However, I do not like the completely unnecessary shoulder pads, as they look ridiculous, especially in the shot when he turns to look at Rachel in the truck before she runs him over.
H2, cause it’s so gritty, H4, cause it’s like a ghost, H5, cause it’s like he’s pissed for coming back, the HKills Flashback, because it’s like the original hero, but much better
That’s the first time I’ve heard someone describe H4 Myers as a “ghost”, but I love it. That’s exactly what I was trying to describe in my post above. H4 is already arguably the most atmospheric film in the series, so it’s very fitting. The right Myers for the right film.
I like the H6 because it’s such a mean looking mask (before it was warped from chemicals) and pairs up well with those grey coveralls. Love the 2018 look as well as the H4. The H4 mask was so blank and childlike to the point that it was downright creepy. I also like that the eyes were completely blacked out as well.
6 and Kills. There is just something about H6 Myers to me that I felt was genuinely terrifying. Maybe it’s cuz he’s full on supernatural… idk. And I LOVE that mask. Granted Wilbur’s walk and bulk can come off silly but I really liked what scenes I could see Lerner in. And I feeL 6 has some of the best Halloween atmosphere which helps me enjoy that version so much as well!!
Kills (2018), I just love that he’s been through pure hell and it shows! But he is keeps on coming! I really like how JJC isn’t so machine like with his movements (like Wilbur or Warlock. I love both as both by the way) the seem to come more fluid and natural. IMO, and I know I’m not alone, JJC is the best since Castle to don The Mask.

Definitely 2018/Kills (Including 78 flashback Michael). James Jude Courtney, Airon Armstrong combined with Chris Nelson’s genius feel the most faithful to me they did a beautiful job at bringing back the essence of Nick Castle’s portrayal. Big fan of James Jude Courtney’s mannerisms.
Out of the classic sequels I would hands down say Dick Warlock’s HII even though he’s not my top favourite. He’s just way too sluggish and robotic.
Everything else I’ve never been a fan of.
I enjoy the H4, H2O and H18, HK and Flashback masks. If I was pushed to choose I’d say maybe the H2O mask. It kind of reminds me of a creepy looking, dead doll’s head. Just blank and white.

Oh yeah of course. I would agree that. The original kh masks when worn and stretched correctly is still on a next level of accuracy in regards to the dick warlock myers look. Would you happen to know if the kh rare was sculpted with close reference to the screen used mask ? I’d say worn it looks pretty good :Unknown credit I just found it off the internet:
