Pretty common thing, I feel. Most will post it lower here to give members a chance to own it before a perfect stranger. It’s like if you had a $50 gift card to sell, you’d probably sell it to a family member for less before you’d do the same for a stranger. Just my take

I get it. But my point was that he’s selling a $60 mask above even $1000 is ridiculous. I was generous enough to offer $600 but what he’s asking is highway robbery. Probably why no one has bought it. I get supply and demand, which is why Nag Castle and 75K’s go for $1300+ in a bid war on ebay- but those masks are top notch quality… this hobby has its greedy people i’ll tell ya…
Never a dull moment around here, or the facebook page. So so many people assuming things. So many jealous trolls. So many people thinking that they have the right to wantonly interject their opinion in other peoples’ business. This place & the facebook page are absolutely overflowing with hypocrites & countless people who are delusional who think that they are going to demonize (others) their way into something/somewhere that is more to their liking.
Each and EVERY person that has been denigrating me for weeks would literally do the same thing in heartbeat, and they know it. Anyone who says otherwise doesn’t have a single shred of credibility.
WHY IN THE WORLD would someone not expect to get relatively similar ballpark value for an item that has sold multiple times previously for between $2,000-$3,000?
You’re telling me that there’s some kind of moral code that would cause you to sell a mask for two thousand, one thousand, five hundred dollars less than what other people have sold the same thing for? That’s just sheer stupidity. People sit there & claim it’s because of some B.S. “brotherhood”? If so, I call you an outright fraud. Get off your high horse.
I’m supposed to short change myself and ignore history? Why, because someone else says I should? Because YOU say that it’s “wrong”?
I stood in-line for almost exactly 5 years & 2 months for the darn thing, all the while, during that 5+ years, dozens upon dozens of people came & went selling their masks for UNGODLY amounts of money without so much as a peep of being rundown by all of the Saints around here? But when I decide to sell mine I’m a scumbag scammer? Laugh. Out. Effing. Loud. You frauds, trying to make me the bad guy. I see another JC ToTs H18 mask sell for $3,000 then again for somewhere between $2,000 & $2,500, but I’m the villain??? I’m supposed to sell mine for what, less than I put into it & less than what others have sold theirs for just because a vocal group of phonies have some kind of venomous hard on over what the going rate actually is & just can’t stand it? You just can’t stand what other people spend on masks because you can’t afford it or you don’t agree with it? You want to label me greedy behind the safety of your keyboard? F off you fake.
I’m not scamming anyone, never have, NEVER will. I do business 1,000% by the book, probably more professionally than the VAST majority of members here.
Unlike you, I live in the real world where I don’t believe I’m entitled to not have to work for the things I want or spend the necessary price to obtain the things I set my sights on. I don’t get salty at other people for paying what they pay for something I simply choose not to pay the same price for. I don’t vomit spite, bitterness and malice at those who understand how a capitalist free market economy functions. I don’t sit behind a keyboard & take every opportunity to disparage other people because I can’t accept how the world actually works.
Years ago I made the mistake of offering another member’s stated asking price for an item they were selling only to have that member turn around & tell me that it was now a “highest bidder takes the item” situation. I made the mistake of going to the choir to express my distain for what had transpired and you know what I was told? I was told that I WAS THE BAD GUY for not offering more because the item was worth more than the seller’s original asking price! I was told that the poor defenseless seller, who’s English is beyond perfect when things are amicable but magically turns into a jumbled mess of diarrhea when things aren’t (who has literally taken advantage of nearly ALL of the people in this “community” for over 15 years by pulling the wool over their eyes & dressing the exact same thing in any number of different outfits to get people to continually buy the next, exactly the same, iteration), somehow didn’t know what the item was truly worth (uh huh, yeah, right…). I was told: “How would YOU feel if you sold something only to later see the person it was sold to turn around & double, triple, quadruple their money re-selling it?”, “you should have offered more since it’s clearly worth more”. Honest to God, SMH.
Frauds.
There’s a lot of really cool, decent people around here who understand how things work. For some reason, there’s a greater number of people who refuse to accept reality & believe it’s their duty to run down anyone/anything they see as corrupt & they set out to force their views on the people they disagree with. Look in the damn mirror. It’s no different than yelling, screaming, advocating tolerance, tolerance, tolerance, but, only tolerance of what “I find important”, not what YOU find important, what YOU find important doesn’t matter. That, folks, is the text book definition of hypocrisy.
OF COURSE I’m going to try to get as much money as I can for something I’m selling. Why? Because I’m not an imbecile & I don’t live in fantasy land. Does that mean I actually expect to get my original asking price? In the majority of instances, of course not. I understand how negotiation works. Generally speaking, unless you are dealing with a total moron rube, you can’t work back up in a negotiation. It doesn’t work that way. And, no one is putting a gun to anyone else’s head forcing them to spend more than they want to spend. I’m not taking advantage of anyone. Never have, never will. What’s with the incessant petulant need to yell & scream at people selling something for a price you don’t agree with? You want to “feel bad” for someone who pays more for something than you would? That’s on you. You want to demonize someone for selling something to someone else for more than YOU would pay for it? Again, that’s your issue, not anyone else’s. Shut your mouth and mind your own business you child.
