Just picked this up on Ebay. I am kinda surprised nobody else bid on it. Am I missing something here? Looks pretty cool to me, and I am pretty stoked to have it for what it is.

I may be wrong, for you I hope I am, but I don’t think that’s any where near an original. It looks like one of the new recasts that’s been done.
That’s kinda what I thought. Is there any distinct markings on an original in the back that I could ask to see pictures of?
Well, not really because all that was casted as well, but for me in that “pristine” condition, I would expect a tag still attached, and with age, I would expect a little more “shelf” wear look to it, such as hair not perfect, overall condition not perfect, if that makes sense.
I believe that is one from when the late Sam McCain did a run of 99s. That is a gorgeous copy. Just don’t think its the original Don Post…not that it matters because that copy is gorgeous[THUMBS UP SIGN][THUMBS UP SIGN]

Ah ok, so it’s the same mold just done by Sam correct? Do you know when he did them? And this makes me feel a bit better about my purchase.

Ok so looking deeper the title claims it’s a Don Post. Yet in the description it does indeed say it’s a Sam Mcain. Which I feel is a bit misleading. Idk maybe I am looking into it too hard. 
Its a DON POST 99 offered by Darren Perks, he owns the master and he sent blanks to Sam back in the day
Indeed he did. I own one of the 1st run that was cast in black latex. I can assure you if yours is anywhere close your gonna be a happy camper
