Here’s a larger 99 Shatner that I converted a few weekends ago, and I almost talked myself into hanging onto this one. I mainly did it up to try some new H2 paint techniques, plus I was dying to use some of my vintage hair on something H2ish! It has a nice KH vibe to the paint, but at the same time it’s much different with a nasty, raw feel. It actually fits me pretty well for a 99… really well to be honest! Anyway, I had a lot of fun with it, and I wanted to share this one before I head to ebay or whatever I decide to do. It’s possibly my favorite H2 style finishing yet (that I have done), and I’m just a tad bit proud of the way it came out!
I am back home from my vacation and will be back to the Myers work full force this weekend, and will get to all PMs tonight!
You ought to be proud of the way that one came out, James! It’s a beauty, man. Really grungy and raw feel to it. A lot like the scenes right before the gas and O2 valves are cranked to full blast. Killer work. I love it!
Welllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll that is one slick mother!!! Really like the
way you layed the hair on this one. KH vibe for sure.
Love it man!!
That’s one Beast of a 99’ you’ve done up here brother! That new paint technique is obviously working for you… Love the way that hair came out too…
Great worn shots as always my man! Keep them coming!
Bro!!! looks like a mix between the Dano 75k i have and your new paint schemes! you got the best of both worlds here man, and the hair is super VINTAGE!!! looks 30yrs old or so!!!
That mask is straight up sick!! I personally don’t see too many 99’s anymore, and I still think they’re up there with the “Top Dogs” as far as H-2 accuracy is concerned… This copy looks outstanding, James! I can easily see how this one gives you that “KH Vibe”… excellent shots, BTW. Whomever wins this piece should consider themselves very fortunate! …ANDY
