Hey guys. I’ve been working on composing some Halloween-esque tunes for a few fellow boards members’ fan films lately. I’ve created quite a few pieces of music that resemble Howarth and Carpenter’s creation for these little films.

I decided to try my hand at emulating my favorite theme of the franchise, HALLOWEEN II, with the new analogue sounds I’ve acquired with a sweet program called REASON that I use along with Cubase to generate these soundtracks.

I am now offering up a download of what I’ve created, and I must say, that I’m very proud of it. It is VERY close to the original Halloween II theme, and if anyone out there wishes to hear it and download it fort themselves, the link is here:

I totally agree about the RZ movies, shoulda been more like this, although I did enjoy Tyler Bate’s use of the incorporating the older themes.
I’ve been making a bunch of this music for years, but just recently am I finding similar sounding analogue synths. Thanks for the compliments!
