After re-hauling my Kills and being pretty happy with the result, I kept looking at it sitting next to my stock Ends and well, the Ends stuck out now. The Ends seemed like a much more difficult mask, so I first inquired on pricing with a few artists, but after just having picked up two pieces, I decided to wait to get it done. I kept looking at it every day and with my usual lack of patience, I decided to give it a go myself. What’s the worst that could happen
? I used the VVD mask as a reference and went for it.
Anyways, here’s how it turned out.

Beautiful! Just like the VVD mask you were going for. Is that pure crepe hair? No mohair at all?
Thanks, I appreciate it! It’s pure crepe hair I got from Etsy. Nothing else mixed in with it.

Yep, their crepe is the best ive worked with. Soft but coarse at the same time

No problem!
It was fantastic to work with and super easy to prep. I just steamed it straight. You are absolutely right about the look and feel. It looks super coarse, but when you touch it it’s actually pretty soft. It is also very easy to style as well.
