A question about flesh tones

Is there any way to paint them onto a mask? I have a Rage from SG, and I’m turning it into a part 2 mask, but I hate how the mask has no flesh tones. It’s just all white paint. So what’s the best way to apply them, if possible, so it looks like the basecoat?

You could do this one of two ways.

Add the flesh tone to the area you want, then shade over that with a color match to the overall color of the mask…

OR, add the flesh tone and repaint the mask.

Using an airbrush or paint brush…??

If useing an air brush, and REALLY know how to wrok one, you mey be able to add the flesh tone… LIGHT FLESH TONE with it to where it apears to be a base color… That can be tricky, but can be done.

I don’t have an airbrush…so do I just find a flesh colored paint and go for it? I’m afraid it will look caked on, especially on the ears.

Lightly feather it on. Start at the back and work ur way to the front. LIGHTLY… Do a lot of blending with a VERY soft bristled brush.

Okay. Thanks man!
