I’m sure this question has been asked before, so forgive my somewhat newbie question:
I am really wondering what the actual H1 mask size was for the movie… Many sources say the og Don Post mask was tiny and child size, however, from the pics, its seems to have some space in Nick’s face…
I can’t imagine it was too small afterall…
Anyone know the size in inches of the movie mask?
This is something I was curious about also. If I had to guess I would say around 23.5"
I always remembered hearing it was on the small side. Possibly in the 23 inch range. I know Nick had difficulty wearing it and had to tuck his chin into the neck area. I also heard that the first time Dick put it on, the slit up the back ripped.
Speculation has always had it at about 23’, but the fact there are masks based specifically on the “Castle” and “Warlock” stretch should give you an idea of how tiny it was. Castle stretched it extremely vertically while Warlock had a wider head and stretched it horizontally. That is why in H1 and H2 the mask looks so different. I’ve always believed it to be 23’ and nothing above 23.5’
