Any suggestions for 78 coveralls that won’t cost hundreds of dollars?

These coveralls are awesome and pretty much as close as you can get to the original Sears ones.

they’re decent, but not as close as Big Macs or Reeds
Red Kaps are a good alternative ‘78 coveralls. They are cheap, good quality, and they have all the H1 colors available. I currently own a pair of charcoal grey Red Kaps but I’m gonna buy a pair in navy and spruce soon.
