Here’s a question though, how you suspect Michael got into Sheriff Meeker house? I think they left it up to us interpret ourselives, but deputy nails all doors, we even see Michael look into the house during a coversationew between the deputy nails sheriff.
Thats a good question. I’m not sure how he got in, but I do know the way Michael got to the house was he was hiding in the back seat of the cop car that the deputy was driving. My guess is maybe he somehow managed to sneak in by breaking the boards down somewhere.
There’s a great shot that many people don’t notice:
I believe it’s after the deputy notices the back door of his squad car was open, when he goes back in the talk to Meeker (about 54:30 into the movie), you can just barely make out The Shape watching them from the shadows, inside the house. I actually didn’t notice it until three or so years ago, someone posted about it on these boards.
The deputy (and Michael) arrived at the house mere seconds after Meeker, and Michael probably sneaked in during the commotion of Meeker, Loomis, etc. coming into the house and explaining the situation. In my opinion, he was inside before anything was even nailed up, and they essentially unwittingly built a cage around themselves, trapping them inside with Michael.
Watching H5 now, just saw the clip where someone throws a rock through the window in jamies room and I just noticed something. The musical sting they use is from H2!
It’s the most wonderful time of the year! lol nothing like eating breakfast at 9am and Halloween is playing on AMC.
Yeah that’s the shot I mentioned above, but as a cop you think he would question his own squad car door opened… I figured that shot too Michael was lurking from outside, but I’ll rewatch to see it. That part always scared me as a kid.
Sadly, I am missing it.

Also in the H20 trailer from 1998 i believe they used the H4 halloween theme. But not sure

I do too. I love their fear fest, or as I affectionately call it, the “Horrorthon.” I love that this year they’re starting to expand their line up with some more newer stuff, as well as the good old classics.
