Anybody else ever notice that the doll in Laurie’s bedroom, up on the dresser looks exactly like the infamous Annabelle doll from the haunting that The Conjuring movie is based upon (talking about the actual doll, not the movie version)?
Coincidence or did Carpenter put it there on purpose?

Those Raggedy Ann dolls were very popular in their time. The same doll was also in Halloween: Resurrection.
Yeah. I’m pretty sure my sister had two of those in the late '70’s. Very common.
Making me feel my age…The Raggedy Ann doll is still very popular. 100% sure Carpenter put that in the movie as a sign of the popularity of the doll and the innocence of Laurie.
Maybe that doll was also possessed and in return for his 3 minutes on screen the demon granted Carpenter unrivaled success…
