Another possible mask rot thread

Got a 2013 Creep off ebay a couple weeks ago and noticed this weird looking area in the front of the neck and chin area. Do you guys think its rot or just defect from the pull? Kind of worried about it. Thanks

Normal air bubbles from casting the mask. Most Indy masks will have air bubbles. This also occurs when a mask maker makes pulls during the cold season. Liquid latex tends to retain a lot of moisture and pockets of air during cold season and thus taking longer to cure. Definitely not rot.

Thanks Knightnite05. I think the thread from the other day may have just got me feeling a little paranoid lol

No worries man… Most of the masks that rot away tend to be really old masks like don posts from the 70s 80s 90s. Or if the mask maker adds fillers to the latex. Justin uses good quality latex, so we’re safe for a really long time lol

Thats good to hear. Feeling very relieved now lol
