Any good Halloween Stories as Michael?

Anyone have some good stories to tell about their Halloween’s dressed as our favorite serial killer? Mine is from last year, I first handed out candy which was fun. Some kids were scared, Adults were impressed. Than, when my cousins arrived, we went out in the neighborhood. My main goal was to scare as many people as possible in that one night. I remember scaring a girl when I snuck up right behind her. She ran and then fell and curled into the fetal position. Another one was two girls walking down a sidewalk, I walked across to the sidewalk they were at and I turned my head slowly to look at them. They stopped and when I started walking closer, One ditched the other and started booking it. They both ran behind two houses. Another one was a mother and her family out on a garage road. I walked up and the mom recognized me and screamed. She said that she was terrified of me and started recording me saying something like “this guy just walked up to us dressed as Michael Myers and I’m freaking out!” her kids were crying as I was pretty close and then I walked away as the older kids said “Bye, Michael!” And the last one I remember is of these 3 girls. They actually took candy from me while I was handing it out and making a joke that one of them was my sister. I came across them out on a sidewalk and “attacked” I walked towards them and swung my fake knife at them which made them panic and run away as I walked after them. It happened again later that night when I was heading back to my house. 2018 was a good time…

Sounds great man  A couple years ago, I was Michael for Halloween, and that night after it got dark, I went out into the yard, where there is a street light, so it made for some good lighting. Anyway, I stood still under this light, holding my knife, and every time a car drove by, I would just slowly turn my head and watch them as they drove past. If I remember correctly, I think there was one driver that I particularly freaked out ha ha

There was a Michael standing in my yard until I pulled out my Glock 26 9mm and then he left rather quickly. Jk folks but that’s what I’m scared of nowadays dressing up. Getting shot!

As long as it’s a safe neighborhood and you’re with a group, you should be fine.

My favourite is from last year with this doppleganger we called Aquaman, I was in character and had been scaring a bunch of girls, most of them screamed, but this guy just came up to me and was giving me a hug and a fist bump, so after I took off the mask I got him a pic with him, hoping he comes back, cause he was great to all of us, then there was this chick who was trying to give us all the stare down, including me, but it was hilarious, got a picture with her before taking the mask off, and got compliments from the others who wanted pics with me

This past Halloween the parade in town went right past my house, so o stood on the porch and the kids on floats and in parade all waved or try to leave the parade to see me, then got flooded by kids trick or treating. After a while I decided to go for a walk, had the new theme on repeat on the phone in my pocket. Can’t stalk the neighbor without some good music. I was walking slowly down the sidewalk and the cops driving by starting screaming “I shot him! I shot him 6 times!” While slowed down to drive beside me. Also had few teenage girls run from me too. Can’t wait for this upcoming year, my house is known as the Myers house as a few my old high school friends messaged me telling me that’s what thier kids said.

Last Halloween was great. Some memorable moments for me.

  1. Scared 2 little black boys (maybe 7-9 years old) one of them got really scared and ran into the street, almost getting hit by a golf cart. That freaked me out. I knew I had to take it down a notch lol

  2. this one is gonna be hard to explain. So imagine a line of houses pretty close together, a sidewalk and street out front, and the neighborhood is so crowded that a line of cars completely blocks the view of the street from the houses/sidewalk. I’m going down the crowded sidewalk, Bluetooth speaker in hand, slowly stalking towards this group of maybe 13-15 year old girls (don’t worry I’m 18, not trying to creep anyone out too bad) They see me and freak out. Keep in mind, I was the only person in this neighborhood with a 2018 mask. People were looking out for me. They try to hide from me and jump back in their golf cart which was parked along the line of cars. I pause my music, walk through the line of cars to get to the street, when I hear them say “Wait, where did he go???” I walk closer to their golf cart on the driver side, while they’re all leaning out the passenger side expecting me to be on the sidewalk. Instead, I step around the the back of a truck right in front of the driver side of their cart, press play on my music, and BAM, “The Shape Kills” from the new soundtrack explodes and starts playing. It starts off with a really loud stinger, which made them all jump and scream. I got a huge kick out of that. It couldn’t have been a more perfect scare.

  3. Before I had my speaker in my hand, I was carrying around a hammer. Walking down a sidewalk when I hear, “Michael!” Slowly turn my head and see a middle aged man drinking a beer outside on his porch. Cross the street and get closer to his house. He says, “I got something for you” and he started playing the Halloween theme. I cocked my head to the side a few times, and when the beat dropped, I just turned around and walked off at a slightly faster speed. Hear the man yell, “Holy shit, that’s so fucking creepy haha” I was the highlight of the night!

That’s fucking epic! I guess that’s an effect if you’re Michael for every Halloween

That’s awesome! I wish I could have such perfect moments with the music included.

A Bluetooth speaker works wonders. Sure, it takes away from the character a little bit, but it can make for some great moments. The music really gets people’s attention. I’ve also noticed that people seem to act more freaked out with the music playing.

This past year the second time I saw Halloween 2018 I went completely dressed up in my Michael costume with my newly re hauled H18 mask. Everyone kept looking at me because they were so freaked out by it. It even scared these two girls so much they left before the movie even started lol. I’m still really surprised the theater let me wear it.

Went to a Halloween costume party in town dressed as Michael, and didn’t break character while I had the mask on. The party was up some stairs, and I noticed someone dressed as Ghostface coming up the stairs to the party so I stood near the top and just eyeballed him all the way up, turning my head as he edged past me looking quite unnerved and with his friends all laughing. It helped that I’m 6’3” and he was about 5’8”

When it was my turn to get drinks at the bar I just stood there and held up my phone, which had my drinks order typed on it, which the barstaff thought was really funny
