I placed an order for a “Creep” mask from Night Owl Productions, through their website on May 31st ($335). I received a PayPal receipt, but then no other contact. I know that many companies are experiencing delays due to COVID so I assumed that was the issue. But after several more months, I still heard nothing, so I sent an email to nightowlghoul@aol.com, which is the email address listed on the PayPal receipt, and on the Night Owl Productions website. That was on August 30th, and I still have heard nothing.
I know that Justin is a well-known mask-maker, so I don’t want to assume anything bad. But the lack of contact over several months has me concerned. Does anyone know of any other way to try and get in touch with him?
Covid or not, not even responding back to an email after a month with an update is unacceptable. If i were you i would just do a chargeback through paypal.
That would either prompt a swift response from him or you getting your money back.
Did you ever get your mask? I’m in the same situation. I tried messaging but didn’t get any response back. Tried doing a chargeback but it’s been 6 months already. Guess I just flushed $335.
Justin usually bangs out a batch of creeps in late august early September. I believe he just sits on all of the orders from the year and does them all at once. The guy is super busy but he should at least respond, try Instagram he usually responds to me on Instagram within a couple days. I’m waiting on a slasher from him myself. It will eventually get here.
