Any tips on how to get the paint out of these cracks

I used lacquer thinner, to rub out most of the paint in the cracks. The mask will warp but don’t worry the mask returns to its normal shape when the lacquer thinner evaporates.

did you rub it out with a rag, or what did you use?

Yep rag and spoonge.
