A couple very nice halloween posters went up for sale on Mondo today, but sold out in about 45 seconds. Anyone score either or the vinyl soundtrack and slip mats?

Posters are incredible. Wish I would’ve know. I would’ve picked them up. Strange thing is the vinyl was listed as a preorder on Amazon and I preordered it. I wonder since the vinyl was limited if they’re actually going to be available now?

I pre-ordered the vinyl through Amazon. I’m confused, though, because on Amazon it said “this title will be released on November 26th”.
They went up for sale at like 11:30 and I was working.
Too gimmicky… I bet half of them will be scalped on ebay.
Mondo sucks.
It’s crazy hard to win anything that is that lImited. People are already turning them, which I have no problem with them doing so. So be it.

I tried to get in on one. The page never showed up for me to be able to even give it a shot. I seen an action figure go for over 600 on eBay the same day. Insane. When items are limited like these. It’s frustrating.
I believe that to still be true. The eBay sellers have stated in their listings that it’s going to take 3-4 weeks for them to ship theirs out to their customers. It was just a preorder deal that many folks got in on and many now are flipping. I have no problem with anyone doing that.
It is. Limited items are too hard to obtain. I can see why they do it though.
Actually, it makes sense. The records will have to ship from Mondo to Amazon, which will take a few weeks. I have no problem waiting until the end of November. Halloween is over now and I’m in no rush to get the record.
I ordered the LP directly from Mondo and grabbed The Shape slip as well. The posters are cool and I certainly wouldn’t mind having them, but I honestly didn’t even bother checking if they were still available when I grabbed the other items.
Can’t wait for mine. Would be sweet to get one of the secret “orange vinyl” presses. That art work is amazing!
Damn. I wish I would have known about these. As an action figure collector, I would have loved to add those HIII figures to my collection. Looks like most of them are going around the $500 plus mark on ebay now.
Those action figures are insane. The last one released was the Witch. I stayed up all night trying to get that one. The link never come to his website. I know as I was there when the clock struck time to buy. No link. Nothing. Afterwards it read…SOLD OUT! I just LOL’d in frustration. It sucked. They’re so cool. HIII Items are always special. Now, I’d just like to see them in person some day. Haha!

me and my buddy are convinced there’s some sort of shady business going on with this company releasing this.
they advertised it and hyped it up by saying it was “limited”
but just how limited is it exactly?
i purchase from death waltz recording co. and they put a limit on how many you can grab.
like the blakes gold edition of the fog OST. that was only 1 per customer.
my buddy seems to think they just advertised it as “limited” to boost their own sales.
people have been asking them how limited it is and no response yet from them.
are we dealing with 1-5 thousand limited? or 10-15?
its still on sale, and you can purchase however many you want.
either way it doesn’t matter to me. i would’ve purchased it regardless. but i purchased 2 thinking it was going to be very limited
I hadn’t planned on picking up a copy of the vinyl, but I figured what the heck. Not that I’ll be able to play it; I haven’t owned a record player for 20 years or so. It would be nice to get one of the orange vinyl records, but I’m sure the chance of that is slim. As far as the limited issue, it does seem odd that this is still available now, considering that the majority of Mondo’s limited releases usually sell out in a few minutes or less.
Being that the release was for one of the greatest soundtracks of all time, I’m sure they pressed a ton of them. I’d guess at least 5000 with probably 2000 of those being orange. No one knows exactly, Mondo hasn’t released pressing numbers since their 2nd release of The Beyond and the Record Store Day releases. There is an exclusive color of translucent orange with black splatter available at the 35th anniversary convention that is limited to 1000. I grabbed 2 from Mondo in hopes of getting one of each color and have a vinyl buddy going to the 35th con to get me the other color. Yes, I have a bit of a HalloweeN soundtrack OCD. 
And the retroband H3 figures are very cool. I was lucky enough to score all 3. They’re very well done and look great with my other HalloweeN items on display.
