In the book from H2, are there pictures in the props that they sell? If there is post pictures cause I wanna know what they look like. Thanks!
the one laurie had in the film you can tell there were pictures in that one…however thats prob the only one…i heard theyre just cook books with hard covers or something lol
There are 2 types of prop books when it comes to The Devil Walks Among Us. Hero and background. The background books are just Covers over all kinds of different books. If you look at screen caps some are thicker than others in the bookstore window and inside on the shelves and table where Loomis is signing books. The Hero books have the same book covers but are all made from the same type of book and have page inserts with actual text about Michael Myers as well as the picture inserts your asking about. The pictures are kind of funny actually because for the most part its pictures of Daeg with Chase’s face photo shopped in. If you watch the part where Laurie is showing Mya and Harley her picture in the book theres one picture inside thats still got Daegs face in it. There are TONS!!! of the background books out there I have 2 of them myself (pictured below) Now as for the hero books there are not so many. Rob said in the dvd commentary that there was only 1 Hero book at first and Scout ruined it thrashing it around in the car scene and he was very upset that they didnt have another book ready to go. I guess they made more at that point because I know of 4 hero copies in private collections. The first is owned by Tyler then there are 2 that got sold in an H2 auction the day the film was released and I own the 4th (pictured below) There are still some background copies for sale at premiereprops.com and 1 on screenused.com those are going for $700. To my knowledge there are no hero copies of the book available for purchase at this time.
