Best adhesive used for rehairing an H1 style mask?

Getting ready to convert a TOTS 75 Kirk to an H1 and was wondering what is the best adhesive to use. I’ve been told of a lot of different adhesives, but the one that keeps catching my eye is rubber cement, but I wanted to get the perspective of those that have been doing this awhile. I have the mask, high quality bulk mohair, the latex paint (from monstermakers.com) and have been practicing with the airbrush. I just need to know the best adhesive to use. Im hoping to one day be able to achieve an ability like James Carter (pictures below of his work on a TOTS 75 Kirk).

Adhesives I’ve been advised to use:

  1. rubber cement
  2. tacky glue
  3. liquid latex

Any input is appreciated.

E-600 glue is very strong, You can get it at Walmart, It goes on/dries clear and very strong. I use it on all my tots masks

100% silicone (like the stuff in a tube u get from Home Depot/Lowe’s) also works very well. Can be messy though. Used some on a TOTS Kirk that I rehaired with kanekalon (very cheap synthetic fiber u can get from beauty stores) and it holds very well.

I also recommend E6000, it’s what I’ve used for all my masks.

I use tacky glue. It’s less messy, cheap, and does the job
