im pretty certain they made the toxic avenger series? and terror firmer and a whole bunch of head scratchers like the ones listed. i personally like that style to use as background setting for parties but to sit down and watch? just as painfull as rob zombies films.
If you are watching any Troma movie with any hint of seriousness, Lloyd Kaufman would be “seriously” disappointed… :butthead:
Still haven’t seen Poultrygeist: Night of the Chicken Dead, lookin’ forward to it

ok bad example but it was in regards moreso to the over done aspect of a troma flick wich i know is intentional. and my point is that rob zombie movies i cant take seriously because of how serious they try to make them.

But what I’m saying is…they’re not the same at all, and the levels of over-the-top gore that permeate Troma films for the most part don’t even compare to the stuff in Zombie’s films. In fact, he really toned it down for H2 (despite what some people would have you believe). Most of the kills in that film aren’t even seen in that much detail. The head stomp, for instance, plays out almost completely in shadows. There’s no giant geysers of blood pouring out of the guys head, just the cracking of his bones, which is much more effective if you ask me. It’s certainly not as bad as the fire extinguisher scene in Irreversible (which you DO see a lot of).
Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t find his films to be that gory in the first place. There’s certainly no heads exploding in his films.
The killing of Tina & Spitz in H-5
will always be one of my faves…
Don’t really like the whirlpool-kill in H-2.
WTF??? Is Michael’s hand “hot water resistent” or what???

ok you win i yes made a bad call…but rz still needs a whoopin!
Forgot to mention I hated Brady’s kill scene. It didn’t look like he was squishing his face at all.

Best: Bob, kitchen, enough said.
Worst: Attempting to emulate H2’s “elevation” kill in H20. The prosthetic, flopping around like a gelatinous blob…
Guilty pleasure: John’s exploding head in H6.
Lamest Non-kill: Not killing Busta Rhymes for being, well, Busta Rhymes in H8.
Face-palming “what the hell just happened?” kill: Ben Tramer in H2.
I’ll admit, I laughed my a** off when Michael just walked away from the first confrontation with Busta Rhymes because Busta is just such a ridiculous douche; who wouldn’t just walk away? Watching H8 once, as well as H6, was enough for my lifetime…
Exactly… Well said brother.

Well he seems to be extremely flame resistant so why not :finga:
