Best H1 mask to buy?

Creep…finished by JC or another reputable artist. Hands down the best and most accurate. These “Stretch”masks are cool but they only had that look if Nick Castle with his long face was wearing it. Didn’t look like that sitting on a stand. So these stretch masks, although really cool, are NOT accurate. That look can be achieved with an accurate mask stuffed correctly. At the end of the day, its your money to buy whatever you like. But if you want 100% accurate, don’t buy a “Stretch” mask. This is 100% accurate…

I actually agree with you. I’m not a fan of the stretch look.

Seems like most newer members prefer NAG, but Nightowl is just as good. He takes a little to respond as NightowlPro isn’t his main job anymore but for 350 you can get a Creep and be pretty much done collecting. If the Castle Stretch is something you want from a mask just open your mouth a little while wearing it and you’ll get the desired result. Anyway, to be honest you can’t go wrong with NAG or Nightowl so choose which most appeals to you.

Totally agree on stretch masks only being accurate to phone scene. Fantastic mask to replicate one certain look of the hero mask. But if you look at behind the scenes shots of the movie mask there’s probably less than 5 % that actually embody that one stretch look. Take for example NC holding the mask on his hand…or the mask sat on the end of the stairs…or the closet scene…looks nothing like the stretch masks whatsoever. A good creep or a 98 proto can achieve ALL looks… stretched or not.

Never cared for the stretch looked masks myself , just get a nightowl creep and stretch it yourself

Allstar21, I know the anguish of deciding which H1 to blow your money on. It’s one of the reasons the hobby is so fun and frustrating. With your budget though you have some excellent choices. I don’t own any NAGS, but you can see for yourself from other members, they look amazing for the most part.

For a relatively inexpensive quality H1, I recommend The Hiro by Sinister. For that price, you can’t go wrong and with a little rework, it can look amazing(see first pic).
A top H1 right at your budget is the GKY by Chris Morgan(see second pic).
If you are looking for a copy to wear and you have a big melon like me, I recommend the Sinister 75c(25" version) with a re-haul. Makes a nice display but looks great worn(last pic). It will come in under budget and give you plenty of room.
