Dude, there’s a Halloween movie playing in theatres right now! Can you believe it!!!
What was the best moment in the movie for you?
I really liked Michael walking the streets among all the trick-or-treat-ers. That was just so fun to me.

The manakin room hunt and the long 1 shot from the 2nd trailer
I said it one thread before
But the entire gas station sequence is my favorite. From the moment Myers shows up in the hunters vehicle till the last shot of him wearing the mask.
Bathroom sequence. If they would have not shown his face at all rather than the hints of non-mask face we saw it would’ve been far more effective. Plus I find that the scene with Allyson’s friend in the yard was peak Halloween. Drunk kid alone and he sees the Shape and the lights go out and he’s somewhere else instantly when they come back and then gone again and then BAM in front of you. Had they kept his hunt with Allyson longer and with really no one letting her in as well, I truly feel like it would have surpassed the fear and tension when he’s coming after Laurie in the original. The stalk and the predator vs prey is what makes the movies great in my opinion.
Hard to choose only one best moment…
GOT CHILLS when he put the mask on at the gas station…
when he got the mask and I got the, “Whoa, Myers is Back!” feeling.
But probably the long sequence of him just randomly killing people walking down the street on Halloween night, going in and out of houses. I really liked the shot of his reflection in that living room window, then his shadow going down the walls in between the houses as he stalked the woman on the phone. Very creepy, very ‘Boogeyman.’
I would agree on the street random killings scene… that was awesome.
However my personal favorite is at the very end. when he comes up after falling on the “safe Room” and the place gets barred as a cage and Michael finds himself trapped by Laurie and family.
The very moment he stands up and looks directly at Laurie… man… i don’t think I’ve ever seen such hatred projected at someone in silence as the hate I saw coming from Michael to Laurie as flames surround him.
look at it if you didnt noticed it… that’s pure unbridled hate.
When he “shrinks” the head of the head shrinker.
When Laurie is watching the bus pull away and screams, also when he puts on the mask for the first time in the movie
For me, it was the gas station/bathroom scenes. It felt amazing to see classic Myers back in action on the big screen!
When the song “The Shape Hunts Allyson” plays as she is running the streets. That new carpenter song brought Halloween into the 21st century!
