Nice job Chris. This will help out a lot of people for sure. Remember guys a price guide is just that a guide. This is a nice general idea on what you can expect to buy or sell your mask at. As for the Mint 75 I was offered around $450 for my copy but the deal didn’t happen because Nik added the second run. I ended up trading it for about $325 so in my case that’s about right.
Interesting. I can see Nik’s original Mint75 Myers conversions (that he did himself) going 2nd hand for $325 or so b/c of the finishing. So if that’s what the price guide reflects that no complaints there. But some of the others that have been converted by JC and AHG should be worth more imho considering these Mint 75 Kirks were $375 and you pay the artist MORE to convert it. So $425-$500 sounds about right for those conversions. Maybe I’m getting too technical here.
I can explain the crazy sales you posted on eBay. The first one was a mint 75 converted by a member here and it isn’t really a stand out.
The second one you posted had to be for a quick sale! I can’t believe he put that one up for $200, that’s a steal and was converted by AHG. So he obviously took a big loss there.
If that’s how you factor things into your price guide that’s cool. But it doesn’t seem accurate for the ‘special’ conversions. Maybe they deserve another spot.
How many of these Mint 75’s are known to exist? If Nik only made 30 total, then I don’t see how the price has depreciated so much. That is still a low number overall.
That isn’t how a factor the prices, as I mentioned above, outliers don’t move the range. Again, the range in the price guide is for a UNALTERED Mint 75 Myers. There is NO WAY that I’m going to attempt to price every conversion that is done, NO WAY, they vary way too much based on who did it and how it came out, not to mention flavor of the month. Again, the guide reflects the prices of masks in their original unaltered state, my experience is that this is the best approach on the topic of conversions.
By the way, I noted that the Mint 75 and H78 is a prime conversion candidate.
The Hiro mask is in there twice. I don’t know who made the mask that is listed under my name, but that’s not mine. The one that I made (prototype) is listed as “The Hiro” and has no info on it there. Also it says they’re not in production but I sold the master copy and I think JITB offered them, and may still.
Yep and it’s easier to let the 1 offs go there own, however, people can see what the unaltered versions went for as a baseline to add the conversion cost and any appreciation resulting from the conversion to something new.
Hi,just saw this, this is all wrong.First of all they were 20 copies of the mint, that was the limitation. The price was 375$,i just added 10 more copies total of 30 copies out there as we speak all go for 375$,thats the correct price it cant lose value as mask its price is 375$ end of story,if someone didnt liked my finishing and he paid 500$ extra for finishing its none of my business the right thing is to write the price if the mask as sold from the maker. Also the h78s wich is unlimited and less accurate mask appears as a 350$ mask, wrong again, the deluxe is 305$ and the standard is cheaper please go fix those 2.
thanks

If you’re still offering the H78, I’ll make the correction and I’ll correct the number of Mint 75’s, but if you’re telling me that a mask will never sell for less than it’s original price after it’s sold out, you’re mistaken. I personally have had numerous opportunities to buy a Mint 75 for less much less than $375, much less. Here’s another example for you, Shape 08 by McCain and his Kirk, you will NEVER get $400 and $500 for that mask, they sell for way less.
Sorry for the mistake on the H78 and number of Mint’s I’ll correct it and in the future, PM me on things like this.
First of all Christopher i didnt know about this i saw something that was wrong and i just wanted to tell you, about the mint75 cubject many people got upset with me because i put out another 10,i said im sorry for them i didnt expect that people will be dissapointed from this, anyway all this stuff could be real only if i was offering unlimited copies of this mask after the limitation or if iwas selling the mask for less money, none of thoe happened. This for this Mint75 subject to close some time.
Everything look nice!!!.. but i don’t want to start any trouble… The Doc by Lee Romaire that i own, The proto… it’s worth more money than the price guide listed…
it’s has diffenrent hair, eyes & paint job, than the others Docs out there!!!..
C-man,
You only come here to start trouble!
If you continue to ask normal and legit questions, you will be banned! got it!
C-man ROCKS!!!
I think most of these are “generalization” prices.
Some pieces are worth more than others up there.
Like I said before, I was offered quite a few bucks for my NAG/AHG but I realize that Chris can’t break down the exact value of every mask out there.
This is primarily a guide (ballpark) if you will, like a baseball card beckett. More then likely you will make more on alot of these pieces, maybe even less…
Take Care!

No need to get nasty and call me by my full name! I said I made a mistake on the numbering and I corrected it. Also, if you read the description of your mask, you’d see that I mentioned that you added 10 more masks due to POPULAR DEMAND. I didn’t say that you did anything wrong or deliberatly screwed people over to make some extra money, so take it easy.
As far a mistakes being corrected, PM me the changes.
And people, try and keep in mind that I have to have the pulse on hundreds of masks, I’m not perfect, once and a while something will go wrong, but I stand by all of the price ranges I put and I have a ton of proof to back them up.
