BIG Gallery Update, NOW Featuring the Myers mask PRICE GUIDE

Please give a HUGE thanks to Chris Zephro (username zephro), as he has updated the gallery with information on every mask in the gallery (descriptions on mask origin, where to buy the masks if still available, and price references). He has spent several days and hours doing this, and it is almost 100% complete. If you check the gallery out now, you’ll notice about 5 of the 8 pages of masks all now feature these descriptions and price guides. I feel it is a VERY beneficial update, and only makes the gallery that much sweeter!
Thanks Chris!

Take Care,
Derek

FREAKING AWESOME! Great work and extremely helpful and informative! thanks guys!

Wow, thank you very much Mr. Zephro for this much needed upgrade! :stuck_out_tongue:

No problem guys. I should probably have the rest of the pages finished over the next couple days. Once I’m done with what is there, I’ll be adding all of the new masks that have recently hit the scene. Also, I plan on adding new pictures, so keep checking back. And finally, I will be updating the price guide regularly, so check back for updates.

Chris

I want to remind everyone to also remember that Duel Truck Driver, GoBears and Nils have spent a lot of time helping with the gallery and adding new masks/pictures for the last several months. The gallery would not be what it is without the contribution of all of these key players along with you guys, the members, posting new photos for us to add to the gallery. The gallery has truly been a collaborative success.

Take Care,
Derek

Good stuff fellas. I Appreciate your effort and contribution

Awesome job to EVERYONE involved on this site. I look forward to a good read during some down time at work tomorrow!

This is great news. Thanks to all involved for your hard work. Mike

WOW. . its great to see it back again…

suggestion and some slight constructive criticism. . think it might be worth having a seperate forum where people can post reported mask sales to better keep the guides accuracy? i see some masks listed at 250 where i had personally tracked the sales of a few copies my self and know of 3 sales that were in the 350-475 range. . and a mask thats listed as 350-400 where i have seen classifieds posting it at 180. . i know its not perfect but i can see some newer members taking it as gospel.

excellent work and collaboration gents. .

this is amazing! really it is, thanks man!

Nice to see something postive for a change! Thanks for all you hard work.

Way to go Chris, and everyone involved… Dean

Terrific work. Thanks to all involved.

Brill work! Thank you my good man :0)

Thankyou very much for your time and effort guys!

Great new addition!

Great guide! Nice work guys.

I’m a little confused on the Mint75 though. It’s listed as valued between $300 and $325. There are only like 20-30 out there and the original price was $375 on these.

Some of the Mint75 Myers conversions have sold from $500-$600. So what’s the deal w/ the price estimate here?

I have a spreadsheet that I use to track sales on ALL Horror boards, as well as EBAY for the last two years! The sheet is over 1,000+ lines. Believe me, the ranges are CORRECT, one or two off sales outside of the range is not going to move the range enough to make a change. Remember it is a reasonable range, just like the Overstreet Price Guide for Comic Books.

As far as sales, PM them too me.

Thanks,
Chris

Thanks zephro …It was super nice of you to take the time to do this…

Those are for the conversions. The price is for an unaltered Myers, which does NOT sell for $375!

Case in point:

As a matter of fact, the conversions don’t go for that much:

Bottom line, Nik diluted the value of the mask when he took a run of 20 (including the Kirks) and made 20 more after the original 20 sold out.

Going forward, I don’t want to address every response from someone saying, why is this price such and such? I have been maintaining a price guide on Horror Bid for years, as well as monitoring every classified add and EBAY auction known to man. Derek and I decided to do it over here and he asked me to run it. I’ve spent easily 16 hours putting up what is there now and it’ll take a ton more time to finish and maintain it, which I’m happy to do (for FREE by the way), so please take the guide for what it is, just like any other price guide, toys, magazines, etc, it’s a GUIDE to be used as a starting point for someone to see what stuff has gone for.

A mask is only worth what a buyer and a seller agree too.
