Im sure some of you know of the video game dead by daylight where 4 survivors are trapped in a realm with a killer and they have to work together and complete tasks to help them escape the killer. The game has quite alot of killers from movies such as Michael Myers, Ghostface, Freddy Krueger, Leatherface, Amanda from saw, Samara from the ring, Pinhead, and probably a few more im forgetting but they also have a bunch of really cool killers they created themselves. anyways Blumhouse signed for a movie on this. Im guessing this is gonna be the multi verse horror movie with all the characters in it. Makes sense and gives them a chance to bring michael back to the big screen again i just hope the story is good and not corny. The game does have a story and its very complicated and involves a realm and an entity that these killers are feeding to end the game. The basic story setting in the game is each survivor is stuck in a realm where they face an endless cycle of either dying or escaping the killer. The killer has to attack a survivor by chasing and hitting them twice and they go down on the second hit, you pick the person up and carry them to these hooks all around the map. Once you hook them leatherface style the other 3 survivors can rescue them off the hook and heal them to proceed to complete the tasks to escape. Each survivor can only be unhooked twice, on the 3rd hooking this entity comes down from the sky with these spider like limbs and picks up the victim off the hooks and folds them into the sky and its game over for that player til the next game starts which is the endless cycle all over again for these killers and survivors, Whats awsome is each killer and survivor bio has a little story about how they ended up in this realm and their chilling stories! Pretty awsome game and im so stoked to see what they do with the movie version. Endless possibilities all killers can never die in this realm so this can go on and on as a big franchise with all these killers in it, Avengers style. Cant believe this is happening Blumhouse should knock this one out of the park and michael would be in the movie 100% cuz he’s in the game. They can have every version of michael in one movie if they want the possibilities are endless. Cant wait! Heres the link to the article!
I don’t believe they will use any licensed characters as Dead By Daylight already has lots of it’s own original characters. Still, as a DBD player myself, I’m curious to see what they’ll do.
Yeah man, first of all, I think they really need to update his default 1978 appearance. So many details need to be improved. I mean look at Pinhead in the game, he looks just like Doug Bradley. Aside from that, I’ve always wanted them to add as many film versions of Myers as possible, specifically H2, H4, and H5. The problem is, they only have the H1 license, so they would have to get separate licenses for each film to do it.
Man i couldn’t agree more, i dont see why they dont at least get one or two more licenses for myers it can’t be that hard they had to make enough money off that game now too afford it. Lots of games have multiple licenses for character versions i hope they update it one day but its been 6-7 years since the release i don’t see them updating anyones default appearance but they Definitley can get a license from blumhouse to put the trilogy michaels in it Blumhouse has actually been inching its way into the gaming industry they already said their gonna make a game for 2023
Yeah, I’d love a Halloween game similar to the Friday The 13th game where you have maps of iconic locations and all the film versions of Jason. Also, in Dead By Daylight, they’ve actually updated Laurie’s appearance a few times, so I don’t understand why they won’t do the same for Myers. They’re both part of the same license, so I don’t feel like it’s necessarily a license issue. In fact, they renewed the H1 license a year or so back, so they must be on good terms as well. I really don’t know, just wish they’d do something.
That patient skin they gave Myers was technically his gown from the beginning on H1, but could also pass for his gown in H4, since it also came with a pipe weapon like he used at the garage.
True but the hospital gown in the movie looked more of a plain white the one in the game has a pattern on it like a normal hospital gown and they have the iv things dangling from his veins which is cool i guess they did it in their own way but i just wish they made different masks from all the movies. At least the ddg trilogy or throw a rob zombie masks in there that’d be cool
