I’ll get some pictures tonight or tomorrow and share them. I’m taller than Nick in 1978 but my Red Kaps are a bit big
Actually you could give it a little bit of that balcony boogeyman hair mixed in come to think of it. You know with some crazy twisty strands ,?
Yeah! I gave it a few on the sides and in the back, I noticed the flashback mask had a few but were less noticeable
Ya keep the flashback style (I did notice it! Lol) but add some 78 twisty bits . It would tie in nicely with your “best of both worlds “theme you got going on.
I’ve decided to do some touch ups with the paint and hair, I got the lips and cheeks down and am working on the hair, and may widen the eyes a bit
Hmm I like the eyes you got (i know, I know, its not my mask lol)… you widening them length wise or top to bottom wise?
What did you do to the pics, ?almost looks like it has the flesh tone in the neck.
Ah it’s your shading that’s really cool.
Just length wise. I’ve seen some AHG masks with the wider eyes and kinda like the look, but I’ll save that until I’m done with everything else first
All I did was sharpen the lips more and add some more shading to the cheeks, and I covered up the shading I did under the eyes because it made them look too droopy. I didn’t touch the neck since I finished it last before Halloween, and probably won’t on this one
I meant whatever filter you have on the picture, went back and saw your other photo and that you did do shading on the neck, in the black and white it reminds me of how it looks with the flesh tone. Hope this makes sense lol.
Oh yeah that clears it up, sorry! I use my photography camera for my pictures, and it has a grainy B/W filter that I like for this stuff
Here it is after some more shading/hair styling. I brought [the masks] left eye in a bit further with my dremel, which worked well, and also brought out the glue lines with some latex. After removing them a bunch due to experimenting, I eventually lifted what I think is a wash layer, and it started to peel. I smoothed it with some latex and painted over it, which is unfortunate that it happened but I’m alright with it. I might do some more weathering around the lines, but take a look for now!
I like it
! Excellent work!
