Hey Myers peers. This is an appreciation thread to this #0 Proto piece from 1971. Thanks to my fellow New Yorker, ThornedSamHain who was kind enough to cut a deal with me on this Buried Proto Painted Buzznet baddie :laughing: I hope you all like it as much as I do that I just had to have it.
On with the pics, which is a combo of shots from the former owner and now to The Ripper :sunglasses: Cool and courteous comments are welcome :wink:

Rod, It saddens me to look at these pics but I am glad it went to a collector who will take as good of care of it as I did :wink: Always a pleasure to do business with a fellow New Yorker and a great guy :rock:

I remember back when they first showed this mask and everyone hated it because it was made from the animatronic head.
I just find it funny that now everyone and their mother has one.
And Iā€™m saving for mine now!

Sorry for resurrecting this thread, but i heard about this mask that NYRIPPER was collecting, and i just wanted to make sure itā€™s not only a legend hahaā€¦ This is an awesome mask, which is very old, and itā€™s surprising me how much he is still good-looking after so much yearsā€¦ never give in with that mask my friendā€¦
Itā€™s the sort of things that iā€™ll never see for real hehe :axe:

Itā€™s isnā€™t that oldā€¦1971 is a member that has some correspondence in making the mask. Not the year it was made :laughing: I hope thatā€™s not what your thinking. Burieds are around $300

WoW Iā€™m flattered that you resurrected this my Padawan pal :wink: Yes, this is the Proto from Dela Torre in which the Buried legend was made, which went to a couple of members inc. 1971 before it got to me :drinkers: Thanks much.


BTW, This Buried Proto is worth way more than $300 since it is the Proto so you can disregard the false info. above.

I was saying most burieds in general are $300, I know this one is worth more obviously.

Itā€™s like scream masks, the years are going, and their rarity is reaching heightsā€¦ thank you sir ! :rock:
