Camel hair styling

Just curious if a fiber paste made by American Crew would be safe to style myers hair. It’s a strong hold matte finish paste as well. Also any tips on grooming this H6’s hair once I recieve it would be appreciated.

I’m not sure hair gel would be recommended. If you are having issues maintaining a look, a slight mist of room temp water should do just the trick!.

It’s not gel though. It’s actually a thickish type paste. And I’ve heard of some people using hair spray even. But water might work just wont hold in place well. And as you can tell the camel hair on the mask now is laid flat and slicked back and I need to make it a messy spikey type style like in the H6 movie.

I used spray gel on mine and there was no problem, i just made sure to cover the mask with a bag while i sprayed the hair. Looks way better now. Is your tots mask rehauled? If so by whom?

Well now I’ve heard of several people using hair spray or some kind of gel to style there mask hair. I don’t see this hair paste causing any sort of problems to the hair. But yes definitely will make sure the mask itself is covered so no chemicals at all touch it. I’m hoping a few more experienced people chime in on there hair experiences and what product is best to use. The mask is rehauled yes, hair and paint. The artist is Andrew Donato.

Wow he really did a great job on that h6. Probably the best myers mask tots makes alongside the h18.

I completely agree Dan I love how he dulled down the really dark features of the original mask and gave it a more ghoulish subtle paint job. It almost looks like an aged more bulkier H1 especially with the hair as well.

Do you mind if you pm me how much he charged you and how i can contact him. I would appreciate it.

I tend to stay away from paste just because I had a bad experience with a specific brand years ago messing up my Creep but the hair was mohair so not sure the difference it’ll have on Camel. I just lightly mist the hair with a light hairspray and it does the trick.
