Can you use Superglue on latex?

Hi guys!

I bought a new Halloween Trick or treat 78 Mask
Ironically the paint and sealer they use actually glued the lips from the factory in such a way that gives it a natural castle stretch look. This is like this right off the shelf.
I know if I squeeze it it will open up. Can I put a few drops of superglue inside the mask on the lips part to keep it closed and sealed in that perfect place?
Will superglue damage latex or is it safe? Would liquid latex be better and safer? To me liquid latex would not be strong enough?

Thanks for your input!

I’d recommend not using super glue,it does not flex and if flexed will crack the latex. Been there before, try contact/rubber cement and or latex for sure(do NOT wear said mask after using super glue or contact cement for atleast a day,you will burn your eyes and nostrils bad,let that sucker air out) I’d give a light sanding/abrasion to the lips so the rubber/glue stays better before applying it. Hope that helps!

Rubber cement, simple and easy

Duct tape actually works. And it’s easy to remove

Try Paper Cement

Thanks guys!
