Terry makes some nice masks but I always see negative comments about him. Any reasons?
I`ve heard the same but not sure why…
I am not on the boards that much but I am sure there is a good reason since I see it so frequent. I did deal with Terry once myself and he was kind of condescending and not the nicest guy.
Well I’m sure the board regulars will be by soon to explain it, but from my understanding, Terry stole an original 75 Kirk mask from someone and ended up destroying it, I believe. Also, his myers masks are recasted off another artist’s mask. Never cared for the fear myself, but the Warlock I had repainted and haired is my favorite mask I own. You have a couple nice copies!

My opinion is to stay away. From Terry Scambert! If you can find the old post from yrs back. I’d suggest reading. I’d buy 2nd hand here. But your choice to buy from him. He got allot of ppl. He took a good guy threw a ride on his 75 Kirk! A good guy J.A.! I was and to this day W/O a mask from T.L.!!!

OH and BTW… His Warlock is nothing more. Then a recast of N.O."S Justin M mask!!! He doesn’t sculpt D!$& he likes to recast of ppls work. No bashing Mods… just simply informing new members. That wasn’t around during the time. Each member decides on their own. To give him their $. Their choice. If you like his work. And don’t mind his practise. Go threw C.G. P. N enjoy your mask ie masks.

I like those masks…I wasn’t around when Terry was running his scams but the more I hear about him, the less I like. I might want to buy a Warlock second-hand someday (I could see it being part of a H2 collection). To me Fear is a cool mask as well but probably not something I’ll want in my collection as of now (too many other great H1s out there, plus it’s really similar to the Warlock).
CGP made some serious masks back in the day, and I am glad that I own a few of them, but the Fear was always my fav. Great masks. Always love the Warlock. It will live on forever!!! Hold on to them as long as you can.
