Finally got an authentic “The mask” from 1986 or 85 i cant really read the stamp. The one i had before was the newer/whiter version close to the late 90s, but this one is the “real deal” its in awesome condition no flaws at all except the neck slit in the back. I believe it is or was a flesh coloured because i found no trace of it ever being white. Looks like the mask seen in the pic with chris durand imo.

It does resemble the KNB H20 mask a bit for sure. Good call on that. I see it big time in the face, especially in the profile.
Thanks guys. When i first opened the box it came in, it smelled like an old halloween mask still. Its actually larger than the 2003/2004 don post mask and it looks great being worn. I love the fact that it looks like the KNB mask because i always wanted one. I will try to get some better shots by next week because we need some new gallery pics.

Wow that brings back memories! That was my first Myers mask as a kid. I thought it looked so perfect at the time.
I think that was the one off of Ebay a couple of days ago…If it is then I was going to be bid on it as well but was hesitant because I think the eyes have been tampered with.I use to own several original The Mask’s from Don post and don’t remember the eyes being cut that big.And in H20 they did use this type of mask for a few shots…especially in the gateway sequence when Michael is trying to stab the kids outside the locked gate…I know KNB did a version as well but if you look really close you can see that it is in fact a Don Post mask or a Paper Magic Group version.Great find no doubt tho.
