Honestly, once he got the money I don’t think he really cares about how you’re going to take care of both the mask and yourself, let’s face it.
Nobody is getting out alive. All of us are going to die from something before our lightly talc dusted Myers mask ever would. I thought everyone’s OCD here was satiated with their mask obsessions. 
Quick question guys. If you don’t wear your masks, is using cornstarch or powder even necessary ?
Not unless you’re mask is in a damp environment and you need to absorb moisture.

Yes, it’s just safer to breath in corn grain rather than magnesium and silicon, which have been linked to aspiration pneumonia, and cancer in some cases.
so how am I supposed to use the cornstarch? just clean up the inside with a little bit of water and soap and then spread some corn powder when dried?
Just dust some of the cornstarch in and use a chip brush to spread around. Not sure on the water part, though!

Okay I have to say something. Aspiration pneumonia is not caused by talc. Aspiration pneumonia is caused by “aspirating” stomach contents such as when someone as gastroesophogeal reflux disease. The acid can cause pneumonitis and normal flora in the body that should not be in the lungs can cause an infection. The cancer caused is from asbestos that was not completely cleared from some talc in the refining process, namely by Johnson and Johnson product way back when, and it was linked only to women that were postmenopausal. The link for a jury is we know asbestos causes cancer, talc does not. Was asbestos in that talc? They found trace amounts. Money awarded. Was the powder in question responsible for their cancer? No way to tell, but could have been. What was the percent risk? Doesn’t matter to a jury. As for breathing in contaminants, we all do every day, however it’s of much more concern to miners that are around it all day long in much worse conditions. Anything that causes you to cough isn’t good for your lungs. I’m sure everyone here is at much much higher risks for other diseases from our genetics, stress, eating habits, partying habits, sleep habits, exercise habits(or lack of) etc etc…oh and on a side note…speaking of partying habits, did you know smoking marijuana does not cause cancer? Just a myriad of other problems like emphysema, heart disease etc etc. lol PEACE!

but wiping out the sweat with a moist cloth and a soap isn’t it enough without any powder shit of both types? I ain’t no expert but I don’t see how a sort of powder could really preserve the mask any better than regular cleaning, besides I’m not really keen on wearing a mask knowing that I’ve put some grainy stuff in it, no matter how thin it can be.
Just get a $59 Tots mask! Feel free to spit in it, eat through it, sweat in it, go swimming in it, and after you’re done… throw it on the ground cause in a couple years you can just get a new one! Live yo fullest latex filled life!!

I was serious mate, and even if I ever get a TOTS mask I’ìm not going to spit on it or throw it on the ground (or swim with it), would you? and you are no expert either it seems, since you’re a newcomer and started the thread asking the question on first place, so you don’t seem the right person to take the piss.
Haha… it was a joke and I’m no newcomer friend. I’ve been on here for like 20 years or so. I just haven’t commented for a very long time. Back when I used to get on this website, the warlock, and the nightmareman 78 were the top masks. Yes, I started the thread bc I was curious as well. I have gone swimming with a tots mask! When a girl with double Ds tells you she wants you in the pool naked wearing a mask, you do it!!! Lol jk Relax lol
