Coveralls. Help!!

What I mean is that mine are spruce green in the photo I posted. All I can say as far as the movies were concerned is that, if you have green coveralls and see how they photograph, it becomes more evident that the movie ones are green. But I’m only suggesting that. But mine are definitively green. You can see that clearly in the first pic below. But in semi-low light (and no filter), you can see how they take on a grey and blue look.

It’s all because of lighting why the coveralls looks colour different in the movies. I believe both in h1 and h2 are spruce green. Dick Warlock said it himself in many interviews and he should know it in the first place. Look the scenes in h1… in the scene when michael leaves his old house to look after laurie, his coveralls looks very dark. Just black. But remember it’s daylight and it’s a close up scene right behind him. Now look at the end when he felt from the balcony and the next camera angle shows him on the ground. There his coveralls looks totally different, like blue. Now it’s night / dark outside. It all depends of Light and different camera shots.
Another example… the school scene when michael shows up. There his coveralls has that spruce green look.

I’m sure they are green, if the man said it himself there’s no argument. My point is unlike H1 people use blue, charcoal, green. colors that appeared in the film and most people just pick the color they associate the best with. But with h2 you never see green coveralls, mostly a dark greyish blue. I would figure if people wanted to be ‘‘Screen’’ accurate they would choose a dark greyish blue

What if the photos you take are in black & white? Then it shouldn’t matter much lol I like both spruce green and charcoal. Cool thing about charcoal is you dont have to weather them much. But when you weather the green ones they give a more screen accurate look to me. When I got my reeds they definitely look way too spruce to me. But when I gave them a bleach bath then a couple black dye baths they came out looking pretty good to me.

Lol hate to keep bringing this up but. but for the excuse of lighting as reason the coveralls do not look green in the movie, I was actually watching Halloween 2 last night and I thought it was weird that every time they show the police officers like sheriff Brakett his coat looks spruce green perfectly fine, even throughout the movie you can see green clothing. Again it’s weird that not one shot in Halloween 2 do I see the coveralls as green, I wish someone would show a picture of the hero coveralls appearing green to back up that popular belief.

The sort of look green is this pic, and I think the t-shirt also looks green.

The shirt certainly looks green, but I would have to say those coveralls look more navy

The H2’s are spruce green.
A guy I know who’s friend took shots of the label of the SU coveralls and they’re Sears but not roebucks.
He showed me.
Even DW says they’re green
This was when he visited DW’s home way back
The famous news segment on you tube inside DW’s home shows the coveralls and they’re green.

Lighting and camera filtering can change the color and make it look blue.

This. This pic is the one I was searching for to post but could’t find. Thanks, K! Right click, save .

A shade of green is definitely used in both movies. I don’t have any pictures on this device, but when i take pictures of my very spruce green coveralls, they appear very grayish, sort of blueish in different lighting. That is whats great about this hobby, the mystery behind it all.

Spruce green reeds coveralls. They look different in daylight compared to night time.

Thanks K I’v been dying to see a picture that proves they’re green

Here’s another example of how a filtering on a camera can change the color of things.

Actual color…

Another example of this is the famous Hoth parka worn by Han Solo in ESB…
Toy makers all assumed it was blue…

But in reality it was brown

Fantastic pic. You can tell that they are in fact green.

That’s crazy how blue they look on you in the darker lighting

I know. They change from green to blue to grey depending on lighting.
