Just cant fall in love with mohair yet but crepe just has a killer look to it. Not giving up on mohair though.

Looks good bro! I’ve recently started using crepe wool myself and love it, its a breeze to work with and holds its shape when you style it.
Mohair is very fine and seems to have no tinsel strength to it whereas crepe is courser and seems to all adhere better to mask and that courseness looks better i think. I do steam iron it first which makes huge difference. Just dont like that it comes in a braid lolol

Ive combed mohair and had strand tear in half in length and leave bald spot… its almost like you can pull it apart. Maybe i am doing something wrong but it just seems like weak fiber

I totally get your perspective on mohair and crepe fabrics. While mohair may not have won you over just yet, I agree that crepe has an undeniably killer look to it. Sometimes it takes time to develop a fondness for certain materials, so don’t give up on mohair just yet! Who knows, you might find a way to appreciate its unique qualities in the future.
Thanks for sharing those lovely images of the fabrics. The textures and colors are truly captivating. It’s great to see your enthusiasm for exploring different textile options and finding what resonates with your personal style.
Wishing you happy fabric adventures ahead!
