You know how Michael Myers is cursed with the Curse of Thorn which means he has to kill everybody that is blood related to him, so he isn’t just pure evil.
I’m interested in everything from and mentioned in the Halloween movies so I was just wondering if that’s an actual thing…? Or is it just something made up specially for the Halloween movie series?
I know that the movie is based on a guy namd Stanley Stiers who killed his whole family when he was six (on Halloween) because of abuse and his family treating his sister better than him.
But in the later Halloween movies they mentioned that Michael got abused as a child and got bullied.
So I was just wondering if the Curse of Thorn is an actual thing? 
Halloween 6 is the one with the curse stuff, not sure if it’s based on anything real though. Also, the only abuse ever mentioned comes from the Rob Zombie films and those take a different route. Otherwise, Michael’s rampage and abilities remain largely unexplained and ambiguous.
Thorn is based off the ancient rune Thurisaz. Some of the many things it represents are chaos, wildfire, or a gateway. Just google “Thurisaz” and you’ll find plenty of information. As for its relation to making you kill your entire family, that is fiction as far as I know. And as sargenoodels said, the abuse aspect was completely made up by Rob Zombie and has nothing to do with thorn.
I think he means Stanley Stiers, who did indeed murder his family in such a way, and has been brought up as a possible inspiration behind Michael Myers.

“Stanley Stiers” never existed. It’s just a made up story that some paranormal website made up. The story mimics a mixture of H1 and RZH1.
