Day off and Questions on H20

Well finally got a day off work and started watching the whole Halloween series again. Even watched Season Of The Witch for the 2nd EVER. Well anyways I got to H20 and I know this has probably been asked 234234124 times but I thought I would ask too. How many different masks were in that movie. There is the one in the beginning that resembles H6 mask. Then there is the one that I don’t know how to describe I just hate how it looks kinda idk how to describe it. Then there is one where the guy is in the kitchen getting the can opener and it looks like a cheap Myers mask with chalk on it. Then there is the Hero mask that everyone seems to know like when he looks through the glass and is flipping tables. Well I was just wondering if someone could explain this to me seems kinda weird that they would have 4 different masks for one character in the movie. It’s not like the other ones where they kept the same mask/style of it instead of jumping to 4 different masks. Well hopefully someone can clarify this for me.

The one that looked like chalk was the CGI mask. Not sure about the others

CGI mask? I hated how that looked man.

To my recollection there is 5 different masks used in that film. The H6,CGI mask,Don Post(The Mask),KNB FX H20 and then the Durand H20 by Stan Winston Studios. :open_mouth:

5 masks thats ridiculous. Anybody got pics of all the different ones I can only imagine 4 in my mind.

Your right it is rediculous but it’s true…The H6 mask was in the beginning shots @ the Nurse’ house. The CGI mask was in the kitchen when the kid getting the bottle opener turns and sees him for the first time, the Stan Winston h20 was substituted back and forth with the Don Post The Mask and you can really see this during the locked gate scene where Michael is Trying to stab the kids and picks up the dropped keys. Now I am not really sure where the KNB FX mask was used but it’s in there.

GG

there were 4 masks, not 5, the beginning scene the H6 was used, some scenes the KNB, the Kitchen scene was the CGI, and the main mask which was the Winston, there was No Don post used, Z

yea, lol, there was never any type of don post, Z

agreed. lol
