Its derived from Bryan Hoffmans Masket Case studios masks.The Hmk aka Hoffman Medley kirk (Bryan used the Medleys 1975 vintage kirk to create the Hmk.
He then did variants of the hmk (h2sm,dcsm,LTSN, etc) I believe the DIY is one of those variants.Its supposed to resemble the million dollar kirk (don post 1975 kirk).
Martin Pena owned the H2sm/H1sm and DIY .Then he sold the H2sm and H1sm masters to me and sold the Diy to Rick Ramby.
