I got around to finally taking some decent pics of a collectible that is a treasure to me. A mask that I was recently extremely fortunate to have the opportunity to pick up. The Dennis Beckstrom II Kirk converted to a Myers mask by Mr. James Carter some time ago. Again, this was a once in a collector’s lifetime type of score, especially being able to finally own both an original Beckstrom Kirk and the Myers counterpart. As always, I’m running on fumes from working nights and need some sleep. Some get redundant, angle-wise because I couldn’t decide between lightings and all that jazz. So, nothing over the top fancy but I believe some came out really great and I think it’s pretty cool to see a Kirk and Myers of this very rare mask together in pics. Other than possibly through Dennis with the original copies, I don’t believe I’ve ever seen one of each together before.
The Kirk is so amazing that even though these pics were supposed to be about the Myers, I enjoyed shooting the Kirk again. Such a masterpiece created many years back. I am entirely too proud to own it.
