Did I cut the eyes too big

Hey i’m new and this is my first ever time attempting a rehaul from a base don post Captain Kirk mask into a 1978 h1 mask i am happy with the overall shape but it looks a bit on the bigger side on my end.

Follow up images I redid the hairline earlier yesterday and i just finished now all I need to do is paint the face and any hair paints or how to paint it or just recommendations at all would help heaps thanks

Man this is going to look so good when you get it finished. The coveralls look great, and you even have Nick Castle’s body type which makes it even more accurate.

Thanks would you recommend hand brushing it with sponges or airbrushing it. That’s the last thing I’ve been deciding what to do. I heard that sponge apparently gives a better texture and isnt as smooth or even and it gives it a more realistic texture?

Any tips would help since i am new to this and how to paint it would help thanks.

Update - I finished the paint job and I went for a barely weathered paint job except the neck and i let the shadows do the work

I just need to dye the hair which I will do tomorrow or later on in the week after the latex cures
