Looking for a good display case and any tips on mask care. Night Owl slasher. Thanks in advance for any replies.
IKEA DETOLF is the go to but if it’s just for a single mask you could buy a cheap acrylic case. Mask care is pretty simple, keep out of direct sunlight as much as possible, don’t store in extreme conditions and after sweating in the mask powder it a bit. Also avoid touching it too much to avoid finger grease getting on it. Should last forever if taken care of right

I actually love foam heads just because they stand on their own and it requires less stands. When I get my DETOLF out of storage I’ll have no need for them though. Unless the mask is vinyl (which no Myers masks are) I do recommend covering the foam head though. Whether it be with plastic bags or whatever, it is best to avoid direct contact with the latex and the foam. The foamheads are just a convenience for my current limited space but I agree most times it is best and less worrisome to just use plastic bags and even a thing of paper towels to stand it up!

Yeah just makes it easier to save space but honestly using any other type of filler is much better because it allows you to shape the mask how you’d like! I mostly use the foam heads for half masks I own now but you’re smart for staying away completely. I’ve seen masks stuck on foam heads never to come off again due to the absorbtion over years!
If it’s just for a single mask I remember everyone use to use the Harriet carter single doll display cases. I had one it’s pretty cheaply made but looked good and cost was super cheap.
